HDX™ Technical Training – HDXIT203

Course Description
A blended program including hands on and classroom training that provides the knowledge and skills how to install, configure and operate the products of the Polycom HDX family. Classes provide specific details about the deployment and configuration of the solutions with an emphasis on lab exercises to build practical skills of using, optimizing and troubleshooting deployments.

Course Goals
On completion of the training students will be able to:

  • Articulate and demonstrate the key features of HDX endpoint solutions
  • Identify differences and similarities between products in the HDX range and identify appropriate solutions for a given environment
  • Perform physical installation of HDX codec solutions using standard cables and connectors
  • Perform Out-of-Box (OOB) installation and configuration of the HDX
  • Optimize HDX configuration for a given system environment
  • Dial and connect point-to-point and multipoint conference calls and monitor connection status
  • Perform in-call system control to optimize meeting experience

This course provides the knowledge and skills to design deploy and configure a solution for RealPresence CloudAXIS Suite. It provides in-depth understanding of Polycom solutions in a real-world environment and assumes Polycom RPP knowledge.

This course provides the knowledge and skills to design, configure and perform troubleshooting for a large-scale RealPresence Platform environment. It provides in-depth understanding of Polycom solutions in a real-world environment.

Goals
On completion of the training students will be able to:

  • Design, configure, and deploy a large enterprise customer solution integrating RMX, Resource Manager, DMA and RealPresence endpoints deployed in a Microsoft Active Directory environment
  • Design, configure, and deploy advanced features of the RealPresence Platform
  • Explain the benefits of deploying RealPresence Resource Manager for large enterprise solutions and multi-tenancy
  • Explain the flow of communication between the components of a RealPresence Platform solution
  • Use appropriate techniques to troubleshoot issues for larger scale implementations of endpoints, RMX, Resource Manager and DMA
